About Soak-N-Suds

Soak - N - Suds Car Wash is the culmination of nearly two years of research and development from conception to opening for LMP Investors LLC. Formed as an LLC entity in November 2006, ground was broken in February 2007 and the business is scheduled to open June 28, 2007 with our ribbon cutting ceremony.

LMP Investors LLC

LMP Investors LLC is a Limited Liability Company owned by four partners including Joe Lochtefeld, Lee Lochtefeld, Walt Minch and Mark Poeppelman. The name of the company is simply derived from our respective last names. All four of the partners have roots in the Upper Miami Valley and are thrilled to be opening a wash and look forward to quickly becoming a part of the Piqua and Miami County communities. We are a small family owned business looking for the right combination of family spirit with professional equipment that can create a wonderful and convenient wash experience.

The Founders

Joe Lochtefeld

Joe has worked most of his career in the Heating and Cooling industry. Joe is a graduate of Versailles High School and McGregor School of Antioch. His interest in the car wash business goes all the way back to the days after high school when he worked at a wash in the Dayton area while attending school. Today, Joe and his wife Linda reside in New Bremen, Ohio.

Lee Lochtefeld

Lee is a graduate of New Bremen High School and is currently a senior at the University of Dayton majoring in finance and entrepreneurship. Lee is getting a jump start in his career while attending the university. Lee is also an Eagle Scout and is implementing some of his skills learned during his scouting days. When not at school, Lee also resides in New Bremen, Ohio.

Walt Minch

Walt is Vice President of J.W.Partners LLC specializing in the investment and purchase of small business. Services include capital for new equipment, partnerships, and advisory management to assist start-ups as well as on-going businesses with their day-to-day operations. Walt and his wife Jean live in New Bremen, Ohio.

Mark Poeppelman

Mark is also a graduate of Versailles High School. He received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his MBA from the University of Dayton. Mark has spent most of his professional career in the Fixed Income Investment industry. Today, Mark and his wife Nancy live in Dublin, Ohio.

Our Mission

Soak -N- Suds is the combination of four business professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit. An opportunity for us to meld vast real life business experiences with our passion for automobiles and sense of community. Our mission is to offer the public a wash experience unequalled in our markets incorporating fun into an overall wash experience second to none. While this is our first venture together, we are already planning for the future. We hope to quickly add a Pet Wash pulling together our love for animals as well as additional car wash equipment.
